Complete ultrafiltration systems, from membrane to operation.
WaterChemX supplies Akualys UF membranes and builds the complete systems around them — custom skids, pilot testing units, modular arrangements, and ongoing support. One partner, end to end.
Akualys UF membranes, represented by WaterChemX.
As the representative for Akualys ultrafiltration membranes — part of Akkim — we supply the membrane elements at the core of your treatment system. The Akualys series is engineered for industrial-grade reliability, with innovative design features that simplify operation and maintenance.

Custom UF skids, built to your specifications.
We design and assemble complete ultrafiltration skids — piping, pumps, instrumentation, and controls integrated into a single, transportable unit. Each skid is pressure-tested and factory-validated, so it arrives ready to connect and operate.
- ✓ Sized to your flow rate and available footprint
- ✓ Factory-assembled and pressure-tested before shipping
- ✓ Engineered drawings delivered for review before fabrication
- ✓ Plug-and-play connection to site utilities
Validate performance on your water before you commit.
Before a full-scale system is built, we run a pilot test against your actual feed water. This gives you real data on recovery, flux, and fouling behavior — so the production system is sized and configured for your specific conditions, not theoretical assumptions.
Sample & Analyze
We review your feed water characteristics and treatment targets.
Pilot on Site
A scaled pilot skid runs against your water to measure real performance.
Design & Build
Pilot data drives the final system design — sized to your validated conditions.

Systems that scale without redesign.
Our ultrafiltration systems are built in modular banks that connect to a common manifold. Start with the capacity you need today and add identical modules as demand grows — no plant redesign, no extended downtime, no re-engineering.
- ✓ Add, isolate, or reconfigure modules without downtime
- ✓ Containerized options for mobile or remote deployments
- ✓ Common manifold design simplifies maintenance access
One partner from first sample to steady state.
Installation & Commissioning
On-site support to connect, start up, and validate your system against performance targets.
Membrane Replacement
Ongoing supply of Akualys membrane elements and spare parts to keep your system running.
Optimization & Cleaning
Cleaning protocols, performance monitoring, and system tuning handled by the team that built it.
What operators ask us most.
Is ultrafiltration right for my feed water?
UF handles a wide range of industrial and municipal feeds, but performance depends on your specific water chemistry and fouling potential. That's why we recommend pilot testing on your actual water before sizing a full-scale system.
How does the pilot testing process work?
We start with your feed-water characteristics and treatment targets, run a scaled pilot skid on your water to measure recovery, flux, and fouling, then use that data to design the production system. You get validated performance numbers before committing capital.
Who will I actually work with?
You work directly with the founders. Jeremy brings 20+ years of water industry experience across GE, SUEZ, and Veolia; Helen brings 15+ years in specialty chemicals and product management. No handoffs to a call center.
What happens when membranes need replacing?
WaterChemX supplies replacement Akualys membrane elements and spare parts on an ongoing basis, and supports cleaning protocols and performance optimization to extend membrane service life.
Can a system start small and grow later?
Yes. Our systems are built in modular banks on a common manifold — start with the capacity you need today and add identical modules as demand grows, without redesigning the plant.
